The Analysis of Non-Isothermal Data on the Oxidation of Carbon Monoxide in a Monolithic Reactor
TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a method to estimate kinetic parameters based on non-isothermal experiments for the catalytic oxidation of carbon monoxide in a monolithic nuclear reactor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of support on a catalytic converter for removing CO and HC emissions from a two-stroke motorcycle
Chiou Hwang Lee,Yu Wen Chen +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of support on the noble metal catalysts for carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon oxidation was investigated under the stoichiometric and oxygen-deficient conditions, and it was shown that the addition of K{sub 2}O on PtRh/Al{sub 1}O{sub 3}-CeO-sub 2] not only increases the basicity of the catalyst but also significantly reduces the CO emission under the ECE-40 mode driving cycle test.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multiplicity criteria for isothermal reactions involving two species
Journal ArticleDOI
Applied Catalysis in the Automotive Industry: Development of a Commercial Diesel Oxidation Catalyst Simulation Model Balanced for the Requirements of an Original Engine Manufacturer. Part 2, CO and HC Chemistry
TL;DR: In this article, a model of NOx chemistry over a commercially used diesel oxidation catalyst has been extended by adding CO and HC chemistry, and the complete model was validated against engine test data.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multi-Scale Modeling of Internal Mass Diffusion Limitations in CO Oxidation Catalysts
TL;DR: In this paper, a 3D multi-scale bottom-up approach for modeling the processes of diffusion and reaction-diffusion in porous catalyst layers was applied to predict effective transport coefficients.
