An Investigation on the Performance of an Oxidation Catalyst Using Two-dimensional Simulation with Detailed Reaction Mechanism
Sreeharsh Nair,Mayank Mittal +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a 2D numerical simulation of a single channel of the monolith catalytic converter is presented by using detailed surface reaction kinetics aiming to investigate the chemical behaviour inside the converter.

Catalytic incineration applied to organic coating lines
J. Gillaux,J. Hermia,S. Vigneron +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the results from continuous tests occurring on the pilot scale reactor directly located onto the industrial plant were discussed, and the assessment of the catalyst ageing and the identification of the possible poisoning were discussed.

Effectiveness and performance of a catalyst pellet with bimodal kinetics
G. K. Chitnis,E. E. Wolf +1 more
TL;DR: A theoretical analysis of the performance of a bimodal catalyst pellet which contains two different active components exhibiting different kinetics is presented in this article, where the isothermal interphase-intraphase effectiveness of such bimmodal catalysts with a Bimolecular Langmir type kinetics (i.e. noble metal) and a first order kinetics was coupled with the continuity equation for a fixed bed reactor and a continuously stirred tank catalytic reactor.
