TLDR
In this paper, the photo-induced copolymerization of electron donor/electron acceptor monomers has been studied by real-time infrared spectroscopy, and the reaction was found to proceed rapidly upon u.v. exposure in the absence of oxygen.

Strategies to Reduce Oxygen Inhibition in Photoinduced Polymerization

TL;DR: Type II triplet quenching of aryl thiols was found to be dependent on the sensitizer, viscosity, and hydrogen-donating capability of the monomer and on the presence of oxygen.

Biobased Amines: From Synthesis to Polymers; Present and Future.

TL;DR: Amines are key intermediates in the chemical industry due to their nucleophilic characteristic which confers a high reactivity to them, and they are key monomers for the synthesis of polyamides, polyureas, polyepoxydes, which are all of growing interest in automotive, aerospace, building, or health applications.

On the accuracy of monomer/polymer gel dosimetry in the proximity of a high-dose-rate 192Ir source

TL;DR: The aim of this work was to investigate the applicability of MR-based polymer gel dosimetry to measure the absorbed dose distribution at short distance from an iridium-192 brachytherapy point source by constructing a dose-versus-distance curve by polar averaging.

Photopolymerization Using Maleimides as Photoinitiators

TL;DR: The photo-initiated polymerization of 1,6-hexanedioldiacrylate (HDDA) has been investigated using a variety of N-substituted maleimides to initiate the polymerization process upon exposure to light from a mercury lamp as mentioned in this paper.
