TLDR
In this paper, simple screening theory and the Blandin-Daniel formula explain the relative changes, both in size and in sign, of all thirteen solvent Knight shifts which have been observed to date in alkali-alkali alloys.

Electrical resistivity of silver-gold alloys

TL;DR: Using the Faber-Ziman theory, the experimental data on the electrical resistivity of liquid Ag-Au alloys are fitted with form factors which are consistent with present knowledge (from resistivity, Knight shift and Mossbauer isomer shift measurements) of the solids and recent first-principles calculations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Alkali solute Knight shifts in alkali matrices

TL;DR: In this paper, a semi-quantitative analysis of solute Knight shifts in binary alkali systems was performed, and it was shown that the crucial parameter is the effective mass of valence electrons at the Fermi level.

XIV. The distribution of electrons round impurities in monovalent metals

TL;DR: In this paper, a theoretical investigation is made of the distribution of electrons round a positively charged impurity dissolved in a monovalent metal, and the relation of these results to the Hume-Rothery rule is discussed.

Sur le deplacement de Knight dans les alliages

TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that the variation relative du deplacement de Knight is proportionnelle a la concentration des atomes dissous, tandis que largissement des raies croit comme la racine carree de the concentration.
