Space-frequency model of ultra wideband interactions in millimeter wave masers
TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a three-dimensional space-frequency theory for the analysis and simulation of radiation excitation and propagation in electron devices and free-electron lasers operating in millimeter wavelengths.
Dissertation
Book ChapterDOI
Measuring Wind and Indoor Air Motions
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the use of anemometers to measure wind, turbulence and air movements either outdoors or indoors, and some examples are reported of the turbulent convective motions that incandescent lamps or church heaters generate.
Journal ArticleDOI
Competition, Diversity and Quality
TL;DR: In this paper, a closed-form relationship among the amount of competition, population diversity and quality of solutions offered to populations is proposed, and it is shown that quality for population members is a periodic function of competition and diversity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Polarization Rotation Correction in Radiometry: An Error Analysis
TL;DR: An extended error analysis of the estimation of Tv, Th, and TQ equiv Tv - Th by Yueh's method is presented, revealing that natural TU from planetary surface radiation, of the magnitude expected on Earth at L-band, has a negligible effect on correction for polarization rotation.
