Generic Model of Max Heteroassociative Memory Robust to Acquisition Noise
Valentin Trujillo-Mora,Marco Moreno-Ibarra,Francisco Marroquín Gutíerrez,J. C. Salgado-Ramirez +3 more
TL;DR: In this article , a generic model of hetero-associative memory max robust to acquisition noise (mixed noise) is presented, which is based on understanding the behavior of acquisition noise and mapping the location of noise in binary images and gray-scale through a distance transform.

Design of neurocomputer with binary memory array
M. I. Dyabin,N. G. Karpinskii,É. M. Kussul,A. I. Polovyanyuk,V. G. Red'ko,V. A. Serzhechenko,O. V. Urgant +6 more
TL;DR: A neurocomputer using standard domestic integrated circuits and based on autoassociative memory with binary synapse weights is under development and a pattern-recognition algorithm is presented that can be implemented in the neurocomputer.

Memory capacity of neural network models
TL;DR: In this paper, the theoretical framework and mathematical models that have been developed to understand how these mechanisms are orchestrated to store, preserve, and retrieve a large number of memories are discussed, which can be harnessed to identify the important computational principles that underlie memory storage, preservation and retrieval.

Effects of depression on hippocampal memory: A computational model
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors implemented a computational model of CA3 region of the hippocampus to simulate the auto-associative memory impairement caused by depression and found that the pattern completion performance was negatively effected by the increase of the inhibition by amygdala.

Theory of Optical Information Storage in Solids
TL;DR: The theory of three-dimensional optical storage lends support to Beurle’s proposed mechanism of information storage in the brain, and makes three- dimensional storage very suitable for associative memories.

Holographic Model of Temporal Recall
TL;DR: It is shown that there is at least one other mathematical model, which is considered to be a closer analogue of holography, because it operates with triple products of the temporal function to be recognized or recalled.

Improved holographic model of temporal recall.
TL;DR: The modified static system described here is an alternative to Longuet-Higgins' model and takes account of the weaknesses of the nervous system as well as of its powers to imitate human memory with models.

The Classification of Modifiable Synapses and Their Use In Models For Conditioning
TL;DR: It is argued that if the conditioning and memory mechanisms of the nervous system store information by means of modifiable synapses, some of these must be of class B or C, and if the models are to be given the property of extinction, classical conditioning requires modifiablesynapses of classes A and B or of class C.
