Abstract
A perturbation theory is developed for treating a system of n electrons in which the Hartree-Fock solution appears as the zero-order approximation. It is shown by this development that the first order correction for the energy and the charge density of the system is zero. The expression for the second-order correction for the energy greatly simplifies because of the special property of the zero-order solution. It is pointed out that the development of the higher approximation involves only calculations based on a definite one-body problem.

A second-order perturbative correction to the coupled-cluster singles and doubles method: CCSD(2)

TL;DR: In this paper, a new ansatz for developing perturbative corrections to methods based on coupled-cluster theory was introduced, and applied to the CCSD(2) method to study the double dissociation of water and to calculate spectroscopic constants of first row diatomic molecules.

On the nature of hydrogen bonds: an overview on computational studies and a word about patterns

TL;DR: The results indicate that HB pattern and electron density determine the strength of the interaction and that "parallel" HB interactions are more stable than the "bifurcated" ones.

How Well Can Modern Density Functionals Predict Internuclear Distances at Transition States

TL;DR: A new database called TSG48 containing 48 transition state geometrical data (in particular, internuclear distances in transition state structures) for 16 main group reactions is introduced, used to assess the performance of the eight Minnesota density functionals from the M05-M08 families and 26 other high-performance and popular density functional for locating transition stateGeometries.

A Prototype for Graphene Material Simulation : Structures and Interaction Potentials of Coronene Dimers

TL;DR: Graphene sheets are the building blocks of carbon nanotubes and a variety of functionalized nanomaterials as mentioned in this paper, and they can be used for computer-aided design of such materials or for the study of aromati...
