Breakdown of the magnetization plateau of the S = 1/2 ferromagnetic-ferromagnetic-antiferromagnetic trimerized spin chain with anisotropy
Atsuhiro Kitazawa,Kiyomi Okamoto +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the breakdown of the magnetization plateau at the MS/3 (MS is the saturation magnetization) of the S = 1/2 anisotropic spin chain with ferromagnetic-ferromagnetic antiferromagnetic interactions was studied.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characters and representations of new fermionic W-algebras
TL;DR: In this article, the invariant spaces under a subgroup of the modular group SL(2, Z ) are analyzed and the corresponding fusion rules are calculated for fermionic W-algebras.

Finite-size scaling and conformal symmetry around the (2 + 1)-dimensional SU(2) deconfinement phase transition
TL;DR: In this paper, the deconfinement phase transition of (2 + 1)-dimensional SU(2) lattice gauge theory is investigated. Butler et al. combine this two-dimensional conformal field theory with a numerical investigation of the deconfinement phase transition for square lattices, and obtain excellent agreement with d = 2 Ising critical behavior.

Solution of functional equations of restricted An−1(1) fused lattice models
Yu-kui Zhou,Paul A. Pearce +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the fusion hierarchies of the fused restricted An−1(1) lattice models of Jimbo, Miwa and Okado are studied in terms of fusion functions.

Evidence for a 5d F-theorem
TL;DR: In this paper, a general expression for the free energy on S5 in terms of single-valued trilogarithm functions is derived from their supergravity duals, which are characterized by the 5-brane charges and additional geometric parameters.

Phase Transitions and Critical Phenomena
TL;DR: The field of phase transitions and critical phenomena continues to be active in research, producing a steady stream of interesting and fruitful results as discussed by the authors, and the major aim of this serial is to provide review articles that can serve as standard references for research workers in the field.

Infinite Conformal Symmetry in Two-Dimensional Quantum Field Theory
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present an investigation of the massless, two-dimentional, interacting field theories and their invariance under an infinite-dimensional group of conformal transformations.

The Heterotic String
TL;DR: A new type of superstring theory is constructed as a chiral combination of the closed D=26 bosonic and D=10 fermionic strings, which is supersymmetric, Lorentz invariant, and free of tachyons.

Finite size scaling analysis of Ising model block distribution functions
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the distribution function P L ( s ) of the local order parameters in finite blocks of linear dimension L for Ising lattices of dimension d = 2,3 and 4.

Conformal invariance, the central charge, and universal finite-size amplitudes at criticality.
TL;DR: It is shown that for conformally invariant two-dimensional systems, the amplitude of the finite-size corrections to the free energy of an infinitely long strip of width L at criticality is linearly related to the conformal anomaly number c, for various boundary conditions.
