Three- and low-dimensional inorganic semiconductors

TL;DR: In this article, the structural, optical and related properties of inorganic-organic hybrid systems with a semiconductor behavior are reviewed, especially for semiconductor particles, in which the inorganic part is inorganic.

Structural Diversity in White-Light-Emitting Hybrid Lead Bromide Perovskites

TL;DR: A series of new structurally diverse hybrid lead bromide perovskites that have broad-band emission at room temperature and the highest photoluminescence quantum yield is reported, owing to its unique structure that allows efficient charge carrier relaxation and light emission.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and crystal structures of inorganic–organic hybrids incorporating an aromatic amine with a chiral functional group

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis and the crystal structure of inorganic-organic hybrids containing various lead halides as the inorganic motif and a primary amine as the organic constituent were reported.

PbnI4n+2(2n+2)- ribbons (n = 3, 5) as dimensional reductions of 2D perovskite layers in cystamine cation based hybrids, also incorporating iodine molecules or reversible guest water molecules.

TL;DR: The electrical behavior of 2 and 3 has been investigated in the ranges 293-310 K and 310-358 K respectively, showing almost pure ionic transport at 360 K originating probably from the migration of protons through the hydrogen bonds connecting the water molecules to the cystamine counter cations.

An empirical method for correcting diffractometer data for absorption effects

TL;DR: In this article, a Fourier series in the polar angles of the incident and diffracted beam paths is used to model an absorption surface for the difference between the observed and calculated structure factors.

Parst: A system of fortran routines for calculating molecular structure parameters from results of crystal structure analyses

TL;DR: Given a set of atomic positional and thermal parameters in a crystal defined by the unit cell constants and the space group symmetry operations, the estimated standard deviations of the derived quantities are calculated from the e.s.d.'s of the atomic parameters and unit cell constant.

Chemistry of material preparation by the sol-gel process

TL;DR: A survey of chemistry in sol-gel processing is given in this paper, where the basic chemistry of the solgel process is complex due to the different reactivities of the network forming and the network modifying components and the wide variety of reaction parameters.
