Palladium-Catalyzed Alkene Carboalkoxylation Reactions of Phenols and Alcohols for the Synthesis of Carbocycles.
TL;DR: Intermolecular alkene difunctionalization reactions between terminal alkenes bearing a pendant aryl or alkenyl triflate electrophile and exogenous alcohol or phenol nucleophiles are described to afford substituted indanyl or alkylidenecyclopentyl ethers in high yield with excellent diastereoselectivity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pd‐Catalyzed C−C, C−N, and C−O Bond‐Forming Difunctionalization Reactions of Alkenes Bearing Tethered Aryl/Alkenyl Triflates
TL;DR: Progress to date in a new type of alkene difunctionalization reaction in which aryl or alkenyl triflates bearing tethered alkenes are coupled with various nucleophiles to afford carbocyclic products is described.
