Quasi-static cyclic tests and plastic hinge analysis of RC structural walls
TLDR
In this paper, the authors present the results of quasi-static cyclic tests on six reinforced concrete (RC) walls performed at the ETH Zurich and show the importance of the reinforcement content and the ductility properties of both the boundary and web reinforcement for the deformation behaviour of the walls.About:

Understanding Poor Seismic Performance of Concrete Walls and Design Implications
TL;DR: The 2010-2011 Canterbury earthquakes in New Zealand revealed improved structural response resulting from historical design advancements, but poor structural performance due to previously identi cation as discussed by the authors, due to previous identici cation.

Shear deformations of slender reinforced concrete walls under seismic loading
TL;DR: In this paper, the distribution of shear strains within the walls and the variation of the shear deformations with top displacements is discussed based on experimental results obtained from quasi-static cyclic tests on 34 slender structural reinforced concrete walls.

Modeling of Cyclic Shear-Flexure Interaction in Reinforced Concrete Structural Walls. I: Theory
TL;DR: In this paper, a two-dimensional fiber-based macroscopic model of reinforced concrete walls is proposed to capture the interaction between axial/flexural and shear responses for reversed-cyclic loading conditions.

Experimental assessment of the seismic performance of a prefabricated concrete structural wall system
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated experimentally the behavior of prefabricated reinforced concrete sandwich panels (RCSPs) under simulated seismic loading through a large experimental campaign, and the performance and failure mode of all panels tested revealed strong coupling between flexure and shear due to the squat-type geometry of the panels.

Displacement-based seismic design of structures
TL;DR: The concept of performance-based design of structural systems was first introduced in New Zealand in 1993 as mentioned in this paper, with the goal of designing structures to achieve a specified performance limit state defined by strain or drift limits.

Force-Displacement Characterization of Well-Confined Bridge Piers
TL;DR: In this article, an approach to estimate the horizontal force-displacement response of well-confined reinforced concrete bridge piers is presented. But the authors focus on the hollow rectangular piers designed to support 3 new toll bridges in the San Francisco Bay Area.
