Waterborne polyurethane composites flame retardancy based on the bi-DOPO derivatives and dangling poly(dimethylsiloxane) chains

TL;DR: In this paper , the composites phosphorus-silicon flame retardant was simultaneously employed to modify waterborne polyurethane (WPU) films, and the results showed that the weight loss temperature of the WPU film was 402.45 °C, while the PHRR and THR values of the flame-retardant films were as low as 222.3 kW/m2 and 22.9 MJ/m 2, respectively.

Development of a dual capsule self-healing silicone composite using silicone chemistry and poly(melamine-urea-formaldehyde) shells

TL;DR: A telechelic reactive silanolterminated polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) was selected to ensure the homogeneity of the polymeric matrix and encapsulated in poly(melamine-urea-formaldehyde) shells through an in-situ emulsion polymerization technique as mentioned in this paper.

Chemistry and technology of silicones

Walter Noll
Abstract: Bargaining with reading habit is no need. Reading is not kind of something sold that you can take or not. It is a thing that will change your life to life better. It is the thing that will give you many things around the world and this universe, in the real world and here after. As what will be given by this chemistry and technology of silicones, how can you bargain with the thing that has many benefits for you?
