Characterization Studies on Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) Complexes with New Ligands Derived from Anthraquinone Substance

TL;DR: In this paper , the preparation of new metal complexes via reaction of two anthraquinone ligands with Mn(II), Co(II) and Ni(III), Ni(I), Cu(I) and Zn(II).

Flotation-Spectrophotometric Investigations on an Ion- Association System Containing Zirconium (IV)

TL;DR: In this article, the optimum conditions for zirconium (IV) flotation and spectrophotometric determination as an ion-association compl ex were found: flotation solvent (chloroform), shak ing time (2 min), pH (6.0-6.1), acetate buffer, sequence of their addition, dissolution solvent for the floated compound (dimethylsulphoxide) and its volume (4 mL).
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation of The Chemical Reactions of 2, 4, 6-Trinitrophenol with Thiocyanate Ion in Acidic Condition: Kinetic Approach

TL;DR: In this article , the rate and overall observed chemical change of the redox reaction between 2, 4, 6-trinitrophenol (TNP) and thiocyanate ion (SCN) was investigated under a constant concentration of ionic strength, [????!] and ε = 360 nm using a spectrophotometric titration method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solid Phase Extraction of Cu (I) by Bathocuproine Modified on Naphthalene Prior to Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometric Determination

TL;DR: In this paper, a solid phase extraction method for the determination of trace amounts of Cu (I) by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) was described, which is based on the complexation of Cu with bathocuproine immobilized on naphthalene by column method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Insight on spectral, thermal and biological behaviour of some Cu(II) complexes with saturated pentaazamacrocyclic ligands bearing amino acid residues

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of Cu(II) complexes with formula M(HLn)(ClO4)2·mH2O [HLn: 13-membered pentaazamacrocyclic ligand resulted from condensation of N,N′-bis(2-aminoethyl)ethane-1,2-diamine, l-tyrosine (HL1)/l-tryptophan (HL2)/ l-phenylalanine(HL3) and formaldehyde] were synthesized by one-pot method
