Thermodynamics of ion-exchange on ferric antimonate

TLDR
In this paper, a simple approach to ion exchange equilibria on ferric antimonate has been applied and the values of selectivity coefficients for Ba2+, Mg2+, Ca2+ and Sr2+ have been measured using equilibrium experiments at constant ionic strength and at different temperatures from 20 to 60°C

Adsorption Studies on Clay Minerals. II. A Formulation of the Thermodynamics of Exchange Adsorption

TL;DR: In particular, the effects of the solvent, which is considered as an independently variable component, are taken explicitly into account in this paper, where expressions for thermodynamic equilibrium constants are set up for the ion exchange equilibria of models defined in terms of operational variables.
