Using terahertz time-domain spectroscopical technique to monitor cocrystal formation between piracetam and 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid

TLDR
The results indicate that THz-TDS technology can absolutely offer a high potential method to identify and characterize the formed cocrystals, and provide the rich information about their reaction dynamic process involving two or more molecular crystals in situ to better know the corresponding reaction mechanism in pharmaceutical fields.

Spectroscopic investigation on cocrystal formation between adenine and fumaric acid based on infrared and Raman techniques.

TL;DR: The experimental results show that the cocrystal formed between adenine and fumaric acid possesses unique spectroscopical characteristic compared with that of starting materials, and the characteristic bands corresponding to bending and stretching vibrations of amino and carbonyl groups within cocystal are shifted into lower frequencies upon cocrystals formation.
