TLDR
The end to end delays between the static network node and ad hoc network nodes, when vertical handover is happening between 3G and WLAN interfaces has been measured and analysed.Abstract:
This paper provides experimental measurement results of network mobility (NEMO) based vertical handover of the mobile ad hoc network between WLAN and 3G interfaces. The tests are executed in a laboratory environment during VoIP calls, video streaming and using ping as a test application. Especially, the end to end delays between the static network node and ad hoc network nodes, when vertical handover is happening between 3G and WLAN interfaces has been measured and analysed.read more

Efficient handover of media communications in heterogeneous IP networks using LAN profiles and network handover rules
TL;DR: In this article, a handover of a media session between heterogeneous Internet Protocol (IP) networks is discussed, where a mobile device with Internet access can operate a software program to communicate with a corresponding node.

Review: An overview of vertical handover techniques: Algorithms, protocols and tools
TL;DR: An overview of VHO techniques, along with the main algorithms, protocols and tools proposed in the literature are presented, and the most appropriate V HO techniques to efficiently communicate in VN environments are suggested considering the particular characteristics of this type of networks.

Efficient handover of media communications in heterogeneous IP networks using handover procedure rules and media handover relays
TL;DR: In this paper, a handover of a media session between heterogeneous Internet Protocol (IP) networks is discussed, where a mobile device with Internet access can operate a software program to communicate with a corresponding node, and the corresponding node may access the Internet through a firewall which may include Network Address Translation (NAT)-routing functionality.

Efficient handover of media communications in heterogeneous ip networks
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors consider the problem of transmitting a first media stream associated with a media session using a first IP:port number as a source IP address and source port, and using a second IP: port number as the destination IP address.
PERIMETER: Privacy-Preserving Contract-less, User Centric, Seamless Roaming for Always Best Connected Future Internet
TL;DR: PerIMETER will develop and implement protocols designed to cope with increased scale, complexity, mobility and requirements for privacy, security, resilience and transparency of the Future Internet, including innovative implementation of “Distributed A3M” protocols for Fast Authentication, Authorisation and Accounting based on privacy-preserving digital identity models.

Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) Routing
TL;DR: A logging instrument contains a pulsed neutron source and a pair of radiation detectors spaced along the length of the instrument to provide an indication of formation porosity which is substantially independent of the formation salinity.
Network Mobility (NEMO) Basic Support Protocol
TL;DR: This document describes the NEMO Basic Support protocol, which is an extension of Mobile IPv6 and allows session continuity for every node in the Mobile Network as the network moves, and is designed so that network mobility is transparent to the nodes inside the Mobile network.
