TLDR
In this paper, the spectral distribution curve of temperature radiation was shown to be similar to the velocity distribution of the electromagnetic spectrum of a single photon, and the formal similarity of spectral distribution curves to Maxwell's velocity distribution curve was revealed.
Abstract
The formal similarity of the spectral distribution curve of temperature radiation to Maxwell’s velocity distribution curve is too striking to have remained hidden very long.

How does ATP act as an energy source

TL;DR: Analysis of a simple electrostatic model of muscle shows that, necessarily, the energy remains stored and therefore not available for muscular contraction and it follows naturally both that bond vibrations are produced in exothermic chemical reactions and that resonant exchange of stored energy in the excited state should solve the difficulties of previous approaches to these problems.

The Effect of a Non-Linear Medium on Electromagnetic Waves

TL;DR: In this paper, it is shown that a medium may be replaced, for some purposes, by a curved space, and if the non-linear interaction terms between the electromagnetic wave and the curvature of space-time are included, it is found that the resulting photons acquire mass, proportional to the curvatures scalar.

DFT and TDDFT study of some bifunctional hemithioindigo chromophores

TL;DR: In this paper, a quantum chemical study of some of the bifunctional hemithioindigo chromophores has been performed with the aim to determine their cis (Z) and trans (E) properties and specify the changes of their quantum parameters as a result of the Z/E isomerization.

Entangled States of Composite Quantum Systems

TL;DR: Historically, physical science has always relied on a cognition method known from the antic times as the analytic approach, which is aimed to a deeper understanding of fundamental laws underlying experimentally observed phenomena and to an adequate formulation of these laws in the simplest possible mathematical way.

Compact Semiconductor-Based Laser Sources with Narrow Linewidth and High Output Power

TL;DR: In this article, a hybrid master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) is proposed for coherent optical communication in space, which enables a very narrow linewidth emission and high output power.
