Stober,Elizabeth Surrey,M. Valovic,I. Voitsekhovitch,H. Weisen,A. D. Whiteford,L. Worth,V.A. Yavorskij,K-D. Zastrow,Jet-Efda Contributors +39 more
TL;DR: The results from the JET Trace Tritium Experimental (TTE) campaign using minority tritium (T) plasmas (n(T)/n(D) 2 MA) and monotonic q-profiles are presented in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electron-impact ionization of all ionization stages of krypton
Stuart Loch,M. S. Pindzola,Connor Ballance,D. C. Griffin,Dario Marcelo Mitnik,N. R. Badnell,M. G. O'Mullane,H. P. Summers,A. D. Whiteford +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, configuration-average distorted-wave calculations are carried out for electron-impact single ionization of all ionization stages of krypton and contributions to the cross sections are included from both direct ionization and excitation autoionization.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fast ion charge exchange spectroscopy measurement using a radially injected neutral beam on the large helical device
Masaki Osakabe,Sadayoshi Murakami,Mikirou Yoshinuma,Katsumi Ida,A. D. Whiteford,Motoshi Goto,Daiji Kato,Takako Kato,Kenichi Nagaoka,Tokihiko Tokuzawa,Yasuhiko Takeiri,Osamu Kaneko +11 more
TL;DR: Although it is difficult to obtain the fast ion distribution functions directly, this technique provides useful experimental data in benchmarking simulation codes and the simulated spectra agreed well with the experimental measurement when taking into account the contribution of halo neutrals.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electron-impact excitation of Xe26+ and its resultant spectral signature
TL;DR: In this paper, a 129 close-coupling level Dirac-Coulomb R-matrix calculation for the electron-impact excitation of Ni-like Xe was carried out to generate the spectral signature of Xe26+ in terms of feature photon-emissivity coefficients.
Journal ArticleDOI
R-matrix electron-impact excitation data for B-like Si and its application in cool stars
TL;DR: In this paper, an intermediate coupling frame-transformation R-matrix calculation for the electron-impact excitation of Si 9+ is presented, where the target and close-coupling expansions are both taken to be the 125 fine-structure levels (58 LS terms) belonging to the configurations 2s x 2p y (x + y = 3) and 2s α 2p β 3l (α+ β = 2, l = s, p, and d).
