Restoration of the immunogenicity of cisplatin-induced cancer cell death by endoplasmic reticulum stress
Isabelle Martins,Oliver Kepp,Oliver Kepp,Oliver Kepp,Frédéric Schlemmer,Frédéric Schlemmer,Frédéric Schlemmer,Sandy Adjemian,Sandy Adjemian,Sandy Adjemian,Maximilien Tailler,Maximilien Tailler,Maximilien Tailler,Shensi Shen,Shensi Shen,Shensi Shen,Mickaël Michaud,Mickaël Michaud,Mickaël Michaud,Laurie Menger,Laurie Menger,Laurie Menger,Abdelaziz Gdoura,Abdelaziz Gdoura,Abdelaziz Gdoura,Nicolas Tajeddine,Nicolas Tajeddine,Nicolas Tajeddine,Antoine Tesniere,Antoine Tesniere,Antoine Tesniere,L Zitvogel,L Zitvogel,L Zitvogel,Guido Kroemer +34 more
TL;DR: The combination of ER stress inducers (such as THAPS or tunicamycin) and CDDP effectively induced the translocation of CRT to the plasma membrane, as well as immunogenic cell death, although ER stress or CDDP alone was insufficient to induce CRT exposure and immunogeniccell death.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lysyl tRNA synthetase is required for the translocation of calreticulin to the cell surface in immunogenic death.
Oliver Kepp,Oliver Kepp,Abdelaziz Gdoura,Abdelaziz Gdoura,Isabelle Martins,Isabelle Martins,Theocharis Panaretakis,Frédéric Schlemmer,Frédéric Schlemmer,Antoine Tesniere,Antoine Tesniere,Gian Maria Fimia,Fabiola Ciccosanti,Anne Burgevin,Anne Burgevin,Mauro Piacentini,Paul Eggleton,Philip J. Young,Laurence Zitvogel,Peter van Endert,Peter van Endert,Guido Kroemer,Guido Kroemer +22 more
TL;DR: The contribution of KARS to the emission of (one of) the principal signal(s) of immunogenic cell death, CRT exposure is underscore.
Journal ArticleDOI
Deletion of the fission yeast homologue of human insulinase reveals a TORC1-dependent pathway mediating resistance to proteotoxic stress.
Clémentine Beuzelin,Irini Evnouchidou,Irini Evnouchidou,Pascal Rigolet,Pascal Rigolet,Anne Cauvet-Burgevin,Anne Cauvet-Burgevin,Pierre-Marie Girard,Pierre-Marie Girard,Delphine Dardalhon,Delphine Dardalhon,Slobodan Culina,Slobodan Culina,Abdelaziz Gdoura,Abdelaziz Gdoura,Peter van Endert,Peter van Endert,Stefania Francesconi,Stefania Francesconi +18 more
TL;DR: It is shown that the fission yeast IDE homologue (Iph1) modulates cellular sensitivity to endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress in a manner dependent on TORC1 (Target of Rapamycin Complex 1), which links sensitivity to ER stress to a pro-survival role of theTORC1 pathway.
Journal ArticleDOI
An inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinases suppresses TLR signaling and increases the susceptibility of cancer patients to herpes viridae
Mustapha Zoubir,Caroline Flament,Abdelaziz Gdoura,Rastilav Bahleda,Elena Litvinova,Vassili Soumelis,Rosa Conforti,Sophie Viaud,Jean-Charles Soria,Guido Kroemer,Laurence Zitvogel,Nathalie Chaput +11 more
TL;DR: In vitro experiments revealed a hitherto unsuspected immunosuppressive effect of PHA-793887, which severely impaired signaling by toll-like receptors in dendritic cells (DC), thus suppressing the production of multiple cytokines by mature DC, as well as the DC-stimulated production of interferon-γ by natural killer cells.
