Surface states in bulk single crystal of topological semimetal Co3Sn2S2 toward water oxidation
Guowei Li,Qiunan Xu,Wujun Shi,Chenguang Fu,Lin Jiao,Machteld E. Kamminga,Mingquan Yu,Harun Tüysüz,Nitesh Kumar,Vicky Süß,Rana Saha,Abhay K. Srivastava,Steffen Wirth,Gudrun Auffermann,Johannes Gooth,Stuart S. P. Parkin,Yan Sun,Enke Liu,Claudia Felser +18 more
TL;DR: Bulk single crystals of Co3Sn2S2 are synthesized that naturally hosts the band structure of a topological semimetal, guaranteeing the existence of robust TSS from the Co atoms, and emphasize the importance of tailoring TSS for the rational design of high-activity electrocatalysts.
Journal ArticleDOI
Surface states in bulk single crystal of topological semimetal Co$_3$Sn$_2$S$_2$ towards water oxidation
Guowei Li,Qiunan Xu,Wujun Shi,Chenguang Fu,Lin Jiao,Machteld E. Kamminga,Mingquan Yu,Harun Tüysüz,Nitesh Kumar,Vicky Süß,Rana Saha,Abhay K. Srivastava,Steffen Wirth,Gudrun Auffermann,Johannes Gooth,Stuart S. P. Parkin,Yan Sun,Enke Liu,Claudia Felser +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors synthesize high-quality bulk single crystals of the topological semimetal Co$_3$Sn$_2$S $_2$.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dirac Nodal Arc Semimetal PtSn4 : An Ideal Platform for Understanding Surface Properties and Catalysis for Hydrogen Evolution.
Guowei Li,Chenguang Fu,Wujun Shi,Lin Jiao,Jiquan Wu,Qun Yang,Rana Saha,Machteld E. Kamminga,Abhay K. Srivastava,Enke Liu,Aliza N. Yazdani,Nitesh Kumar,Jian Zhang,Graeme R. Blake,Xianjie Liu,Mats Fahlman,Steffen Wirth,Gudrun Auffermann,Johannes Gooth,Stuart S. P. Parkin,Vidya Madhavan,Xinliang Feng,Yan Sun,Claudia Felser +23 more
TL;DR: The robust surface states of PtSn4 are made use as their electrons can be transferred to the adsorbed hydrogen atoms in the catalytic process more efficiently and display excellent chemical and electrochemical stabilities after long‐term exposure in air and long‐time HER stability tests.
Journal ArticleDOI
Observation of Magnetic Antiskyrmions in the Low Magnetization Ferrimagnet Mn2Rh0.95Ir0.05Sn.
Jagannath Jena,Rolf Stinshoff,Rana Saha,Abhay K. Srivastava,Abhay K. Srivastava,Tianping Ma,Hakan Deniz,Peter Werner,Claudia Felser,Stuart S. P. Parkin +9 more
TL;DR: This work reports the observation of antiskyrmions in a second inverse tetragonal Heusler compound, Mn2Rh0.95Ir0.05Sn, which can be formed stoichiometrically without any Mn vacancies and which thus exhibits a much smaller magnetization.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tunable Magnetic Antiskyrmion Size and Helical Period from Nanometers to Micrometers in a D2d Heusler Compound.
Tianping Ma,Tianping Ma,Ankit K. Sharma,Ankit K. Sharma,Rana Saha,Abhay K. Srivastava,Abhay K. Srivastava,Peter Werner,Praveen Vir,Vivek Kumar,Claudia Felser,Stuart S. P. Parkin,Stuart S. P. Parkin +12 more
TL;DR: It is shown by real-space magnetic imaging that the helix period λ and the size of the antiskyrmion daSk in the D2d compound Mn1.4 PtSn can be systematically tuned by more than an order of magnitude from ≈100 nm to more than 1.1 µm by varying the thickness of the lamella in which they are observed.
