Magnetic octupole strength in rare-earth nuclei: A sum-rule approach

TL;DR: A first estimate of the summed magnetic octupole strength to be expected in rare-earth nuclei is obtained using linear energy-weighted sum rules within the proton-neutron interacting boson model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isovector magnetic quadrupole strengths in 17O

TL;DR: In this article, the tensor part of the interaction was analyzed in a microscopic 2p-1h model and the results were compared with the recent electron scattering experiments performed with the high energy resolution accelerator at Darmstadt.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of dark current phenomena in a superconducting accelerating cavity at the S-DALINAC

TL;DR: In this paper, the maximum energies of dark current electrons accelerated across the whole cavity were determined from bremsstrahlung spectra and compared with the results obtained by numerical simulations of electron trajectories utilizing a code based on the Leap-Frog method.
