Low-energy magnetic dipole response in the 57Fe(γ,γ′) reaction
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the 57 Fe(γ,γ′) reaction up to excitation energies of about 6.5 MeV and showed that the coupling of an unpaired nucleon in 57 Fe does not alter the orbital scissors mode strength compred to the een-mass neighbor 56 Fe, but leads to a fragmentation and a shift towards lower energies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Strongly damped collisions in the 40Ar + 40Ca system
P. Wastyn,Hans Feldmeier,Friedrich Beck,M. Dworzecka,H. Genz,M. Mutterer,Achim Richter,G. Schrieder,J.P. Theobald +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the angular distribution and energy loss of reaction fragments as well as the charge spread of the element distribution are reported for strongly damped collisions of 40Ar on 40Ca at energies Elab = 191, 236 and 272 MeV.
Journal ArticleDOI
Energy dependence of the K-shell satellite intensity of low Z elements studied with electrons of 10≤E0 ≤ 200 keV
TL;DR: In this article, the ratio of multiple to single ionization, KL n /KL 0, has been measured for a variety of elements (9≤ Z ≤ 29) as function of electron impact energy.
Test of components for the s-dalinac injector upgrade*
Sven Sievers,Jens Conrad,Ralf Eichhorn,Joachim Enders,Ruben Grewe,Florian Hug,T. Kuerzeder,Norbert Pietralla,Achim Richter +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the performance of piezo actuators in superfluid helium has been investigated at the S-DALINAC vertical bath cryostat, and systems for measuring the quality factor via the decay-time method and for quench localisation via second sound have been implemented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Model-independent separation of structure functions over an extended kinematical region
Th. Veit,K. I. Blomqvist,W.U. Boeglin,M. O. Distler,R. Edelhoff,J.M. Friedrich,R. Geiges,M. Korn,H. Kramer,K.W. Krygier,V. Kunde,A. Liesenfeld,K. Merle,R. Neuhausen,E. A. J. M. Offermann,Th. Pospischil,Achim Richter,G. Rosner,P. Sauer,S. Schardt,A. Wagner,Th. Walcher,S. Wolf +22 more
TL;DR: In this article, a method for the separation of structure functions in (e, e′ p) experiments is proposed, which is an extension of the traditional Rosenbluth-type techniques of [1,2].
