Beta-delayed proton and alpha emission in the decay of 17Ne
María José García Borge,H. Cronberg,M. Cronqvist,H. Gabelmann,P. G. Hansen,L. Johannsen,Björn Jonson,S. Mattsson,Gunnar Nyman,Achim Richter,K. Riisager,Olof Tengblad,M. Tomaselli +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the Gamow-Teller strength in the decay of 17Ne has been extracted and compared with a two-particle-one-hole shell-model calculation, and the experimental strength is quenched by a factor of 0.82 with respect to the calculated one.
Journal ArticleDOI
The new photoactivation facility at the 4.3 MV Stuttgart DYNAMITRON: setup, performance, and first applications
D. Belic,J. Besserer,C. Arlandini,J. de Boer,James Carroll,Joachim Enders,Timo Hartmann,F. Käppeler,H. Kaiser,U. Kneissl,M. Loewe,H. Maser,Peter Mohr,P. von Neumann-Cosel,A. Nord,H. H. Pitz,Achim Richter,M. Schumann,Stephan Volz,Andreas Zilges +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the Stuttgart 4: 3M V DYNAMITRON accelerator was installed for photoactivation experiments to complement the well-established arrangement for systematic photon-scattering studies taking advantage of the high photon fluxes achievable at this high-current accelerator.
Journal ArticleDOI
High intensity electron channeling and perspectives for a bright tunable x‐ray source
Harald Genz,Hans-Dieter Gräf,P. Hoffmann,W. Lotz,U. Nething,Achim Richter,H. Kohl,A. Weickenmeier,W. Knüpfer,J. P. F. Sellschop +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the continuous wave electron beam of the Darmstadt superconducting electron accelerator and high intensity axial channeling in a diamond crystal for the production of an intense tunable photon source in the x-ray region.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comment on ``Accelerated Emission of Gamma Rays from the 31-yr Isomer of 178 Hf Induced by X-Ray Irradiation''
TL;DR: A Comment on the Letter by C B Collins, et al., Phys Rev Lett 82, 695 (1999) The authors of the Letter offer a Reply as mentioned in this paper, and a Reply
Journal ArticleDOI
Photon scattering off 52Cr: Two-phonon E1 strength at the N = 28 shell closure?
Joachim Enders,P. von Brentano,J. Eberth,R.-D. Herzberg,N. Huxel,H. Lenske,P. von Neumann-Cosel,N. Nicolay,Norbert Pietralla,H. Prade,J. Reif,Achim Richter,Ch. Schlegel,Ronald Schwengner,S. Skoda,H.G. Thomas,I. Wiedenhöver,G. Winter,Andreas Zilges +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the excitation of a J = 1 state at 5544 keV is observed which is believed to belong to 52 Cr because of the strength of the signal and the large natural abundance.
