Periodontal Infection Is Associated With Endothelial Dysfunction in Healthy Subjects and Hypertensive Patients

TL;DR: It is suggested that periodontitis is associated with endothelial dysfunction in subjects without cardiovascular risk factors, as well as hypertensive patients, through a decrease in NO bioavailability and that systemic inflammation may be, at least in part, a cause of endothelium dysfunction, leading to cardiovascular diseases.

TL;DR: The results suggest that panoramic radiography could be reliable in screening for osteoporosis, and the usefulness of width and morphology of the inferior cortex of the mandible on panoramy radiographs in the diagnosis of postmenopausal osteoporeosis is evaluated.
