Variation in the estimated prevalence of multimorbidity: systematic review and meta-analysis of 193 international studies
I. Ho,Amaya Azcoaga-Lorenzo,Ashley Akbari,Jim Davies,Patricia Hodgins,Kamlesh Khunti,Umesh Ashokrao Kadam,Ronan A Lyons,Colin McCowan,Stewart W Mercer,Krishnarajah Nirantharakumar,Bruce Guthrie +11 more
TL;DR: The pooled prevalence of multimorbidity was significantly higher in older populations and when studies included a larger number of baseline conditions, and the findings suggest that, to improve study comparability and quality of reporting, future studies should use a common core conditions set for multimor bidity measurement and report multimorbridity prevalence stratified by sociodemographics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Impact of cystic fibrosis on birthweight: a population based study of children in Denmark and Wales
Daniela K Schlüter,Rowena Griffiths,Abdulfatah Adam,Ashley Akbari,Martin Heaven,Shantini Paranjothy,Anne-Marie Nybo Andersen,Siobhán B. Carr,Tania Pressler,Peter J. Diggle,David Taylor-Robinson +10 more
