Brain Oscillations in Sport: Toward EEG Biomarkers of Performance
Guy Cheron,Guy Cheron,Géraldine Petit,Julian Cheron,Axelle Leroy,Axelle Leroy,A.M. Cebolla,Carlos Cevallos,Mathieu Petieau,Thomas Hoellinger,David Zarka,Anne-Marie Clarinval,Bernard Dan +12 more
TL;DR: An integrated approach articulating together the classical biomechanical factors and EMG and the high-density EEG and ERP signals to allow finer mathematical analysis to optimize sport performance, such as microstates, coherency/directionality analysis and neural generators is suggested.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of gravity on human spontaneous 10-Hz electroencephalographic oscillations during the arrest reaction.
Guy Cheron,Axelle Leroy,C. De Saedeleer,Ana Bengoetxea,M. Lipshits,Ana Maria Cebolla,Laurent Servais,Bernard Dan,Alain Berthoz,Joseph McIntyre +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of microgravity on the 10-Hz EEG oscillations has been studied quantitatively in the presence and absence of gravity in 3 space flights, in which the power of the spontaneous 10Hz oscillation recorded in the eyes-closed state in the parieto-occipital (alpha) and sensorimotor areas (mu rhythm) was observed.

Effect of gravity on human spontaneous 10-Hz electroencephalographic oscillations during the arrest reaction.
Guy Cheron,Axelle Leroy,De Saedeleer C,Ana Bengoetxea,M. Lipshits,Ana Maria Cebolla,Laurent Servais,Bernard Dan,Alain Berthoz,Joseph McIntyre +9 more
TL;DR: It is observed that the power of the spontaneous 10-Hz oscillation recorded in the eyes-closed state in the parieto-occipital and sensorimotor areas (mu rhythm) increased in the absence of gravity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Detection and titration of ozone using metallophthalocyanine based field effect transistors
Marcel Bouvet,Axelle Leroy,Jacques Simon,François-Genes Tournilhac,G. Guillaud,P Lessnick,A. Maillard,Serge Spirkovitch,Marc Debliquy,A. de Haan,André Decroly +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, a molecular field effect transistor is used to titrate ozone in air in the range 0-300ppb using a procedure of measurement in which the equilibrium state is never reached.
Journal ArticleDOI
DUX4c is up-regulated in FSHD. It induces the MYF5 protein and human myoblast proliferation.
Eugénie Ansseau,Dalila Laoudj-Chenivesse,Aline Marcowycz,Alexandra Tassin,Céline Vanderplanck,Sébastien Sauvage,Marietta Barro,Isabelle Mahieu,Axelle Leroy,India Leclercq,Véronique Mainfroid,Denise A. Figlewicz,Vincent Mouly,Gillian Butler-Browne,Alexandra Belayew,Frédérique Coppée +15 more
TL;DR: Results suggested that DUX4c could be involved in muscle regeneration and that changes in its expression could contribute to the FSHD pathology.
