Marina Caskey,Till Schoofs,Henning Gruell,Allison Settler,Theodora K. Karagounis,Edward F. Kreider,Ben Murrell,Nico Pfeifer,Lilian Nogueira,Thiago Y. Oliveira,Gerald H. Learn,Yehuda Z. Cohen,Clara Lehmann,Daniel Gillor,Irina Shimeliovich,Cecilia Unson-O’Brien,Daniela Weiland,Alexander. Gulick,Tibor Keler,Pamela J. Bjorkman,Michael S. Seaman,Beatrice H. Hahn,Gerd Fätkenheuer,Sarah J. Schlesinger,Michel C. Nussenzweig,Michel C. Nussenzweig,Florian Klein +38 more
TL;DR: The results demonstrate the safety and activity of 10-1074 in humans and support the idea that antibodies targeting the V3 glycan supersite might be useful for the treatment and prevention of HIV-1 infection.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combination therapy with anti-HIV-1 antibodies maintains viral suppression
Pilar Mendoza,Henning Gruell,Lilian Nogueira,Joy A. Pai,Allison L. Butler,Katrina G. Millard,Clara Lehmann,Isabelle Suárez,Thiago Y. Oliveira,Julio C. C. Lorenzi,Yehuda Z. Cohen,Christoph Wyen,Christoph Wyen,Tim Kümmerle,Tim Kümmerle,Theodora K. Nussenzweig +38 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that the combination of the anti-HIV-1 monoclonal antibodies 3BNC117 and 10-1074 can maintain long-term suppression in the absence of antiretroviral therapy in individuals with antibody-sensitive viral reservoirs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Safety, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity of the combination of the broadly neutralizing anti-HIV-1 antibodies 3BNC117 and 10-1074 in healthy adults: A randomized, phase 1 study.
Yehuda Z. Cohen,Allison L. Butler,Katrina G. Millard,Maggi Witmer-Pack,Rebeka Levin,Cecilia Unson-O’Brien,Roshni Patel,Irina Shimeliovich,Julio C. C. Lorenzi,Jill Horowitz,Stephen R. Walsh,Shu Lin,Joshua A. Weiner,Anna Tse,Alicia Sato,Chelsey Bennett,Bryan T. Mayer,Kelly E. Seaton,Nicole L. Yates,Lindsey R. Baden,Allan C. deCamp,Margaret E. Ackerman,Michael S. Seaman,Georgia D. Tomaras,Michel C. Nussenzweig,Michel C. Nussenzweig,Marina Caskey +26 more
TL;DR: These data support the further development of the combination of 3BNC117 and 10–1074 as a long-acting injectable form of pre-exposure prophylaxis for the prevention of HIV-1 infection.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of 3BNC117 and romidepsin on the HIV-1 reservoir in people taking suppressive antiretroviral therapy (ROADMAP): a randomised, open-label, phase 2A trial.
Henning Gruell,Jesper Damsgaard Gunst,Yehuda Z. Cohen,Marie H. Pahus,Jakob J Malin,Martin Platten,Katrina G. Millard,Martin Tolstrup,R. Brad Jones,Winnifer D Conce Alberto,Julio C. C. Lorenzi,Thiago Y. Oliveira,Tim Kümmerle,Isabelle Suárez,Cecilia Unson-O’Brien,Lilian Nogueira,Rikke Olesen,Leif Østergaard,Henrik Nielsen,Clara Lehmann,Michel C. Nussenzweig,Gerd Fätkenheuer,Florian Klein,Marina Caskey,Ole S. Søgaard +24 more
TL;DR: The combination of 3BNC117 and romidepsin was safe but did not delay viral rebound during analytic treatment interruptions in individuals with HIV-1 who were taking suppressive antiretroviral therapy as discussed by the authors .
