Journal ArticleDOI

Low-temperature photocarrier dynamics in monolayer MoS2

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report on scanning Raman and on temperature-dependent photoluminescence measurements on single-layer MoS2 flakes prepared by exfoliation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Excitonic linewidth and coherence lifetime in monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides.

TL;DR: It is shown that the excitonic coherence lifetime is determined by phonon-induced intravalley scattering and intervalley scattering into dark exciton states, and in particular, in WS2, exciton relaxation processes involving phonon emission into lower-lying dark states that are operative at all temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Resonant internal Quantum transitions and femtosecond radiative decay of excitons in monolayer WSe2

TL;DR: In this article, the 1s-2p resonance of 1s A excitons in a single-layer WSe2 was analyzed and the decay dynamics of small-momentum exciton decay was shown to be ultrafast.
Journal ArticleDOI

Trion fine structure and coupled spin-valley dynamics in monolayer tungsten disulfide.

TL;DR: In photoluminescence and in energy-dependent Kerr rotation measurements, the authors are able to resolve two different trion states, which they interpret as intravalley and intervalley trions.
