TL;DR: In this article, the authors report on the results of their searches for an EM counterpart to the GW event, both in the BAT data near the time of the merger, and in follow-up UVOT/XRT observations.

Temperature dependent calibration products of the SWIFT x-ray telescope
D. C. Morris,David N. Burrows,Joanne E. Hill,Joanne E. Hill,J. A. Kennea,Judith Racusin,Paul Wood,Chris Mangels,Robert Klar,Lorella Angelini,F. Tamburelli +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present the methodology for and results from a temperature dependent analysis of on-orbit XRT data, collected during the Swift commissioning phase, used to produce gain, bias and warm pixel calibration products.

TL;DR: The Swift XRT has been observing GRB afterglows since December 23, 2004 as mentioned in this paper, and three-quarters of these observations begin within 300 s of the burst onset, providing an unprecendented look at the behavior of X-ray emission from GRBAfterglows in the first few hours after the burst.
