Sensitivity of the Prime-Cam Instrument on the CCAT-Prime Telescope

TL;DR: The first light instrument for CCAT-prime, Prime-Cam, consists of a 1.8m-diameter cryostat that can house seven individual instrument modules, optimized for a specific science goal, will use state-of-the-art kinetic inductance detector (KID) arrays operated at $${\sim }\,100$$ mK and Fabry-Perot interferometers (FPI) for the epoch of reionization (EoR) science.
Journal ArticleDOI

Joint power spectrum and voxel intensity distribution forecast on the CO luminosity function with COMAP.

TL;DR: In this article, a joint analysis of power spectra and voxel intensity distributions is proposed to constrain the CO luminosity function, which is based on a Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMCMC) sampler coupled with a Gaussian likelihood.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sensitivity of the Prime-Cam Instrument on the CCAT-prime Telescope

TL;DR: CCAT-prime as discussed by the authors is a new 6 m crossed Dragone telescope designed to characterize the CMB polarization and foregrounds, measure the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effects of galaxy clusters, map the [CII] emission intensity from the Epoch of Reionization (EoR), and monitor accretion luminosity over multi-year timescales of hundreds of protostars in the Milky Way.
