Journal ArticleDOI
Statistically significant changes of antimüllerian hormone and inhibin levels during the physiologic menstrual cycle in reproductive age women
TL;DR: Levels of AMH show a statistically significant change during the menstrual cycle and may influence the circulating gonadotropin and steroid hormone levels.
Journal ArticleDOI
The expression of estrogen receptors as well as GREB1, c-MYC, and cyclin D1, estrogen-regulated genes implicated in proliferation, is increased in peritoneal endometriosis
Chiara Pellegrini,Ilaria Gori,Chahin Achtari,Daniela Hornung,E. Chardonnens,Dorothea Wunder,Maryse Fiche,Geraldine O. Canny +7 more
TL;DR: This constitutes the first report of increased expression of GREB1, as well as cyclin D1 and c-myc, in peritoneal endometriotic lesions, implicating these proteins in estrogen-dependent growth in this context.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pregnancy and reproduction in autoimmune rheumatic diseases
Monika Østensen,Antonio Brucato,Howard Carp,Christina D. Chambers,Radboud J E M Dolhain,Andrea Doria,Frauke Förger,Caroline Gordon,Sinuhe Hahn,Munther A. Khamashta,Michael D. TL;DR: Pregnancies in patients with SLE are mostly successful when well planned and monitored interdisciplinarily, whereas a small proportion of women with APS still have adverse pregnancy outcomes in spite of the standard treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Anti-Müllerian hormone and inhibin B as predictors of pregnancy after treatment by in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection.
TL;DR: The AMH and inhibin B levels on the day of oocyte retrieval are correlated to reproductive outcome and were significantly higher in the group of women who became pregnant in the corresponding treatment cycle than in those who did not conceive.
Journal Article
Hypogonadism in HIV-1-infected men is common and does not resolve during antiretroviral therapy.
Dorothea Wunder,Nick A. Bersinger,Christoph A Fux,Nicolas J. Mueller,Bernard Hirschel,Matthias Cavassini,Luigia Elzi,Patrick Schmid,Enos Bernasconi,Bruno Mueller,Hansjakob Furrer +10 more
TL;DR: Low fT levels, mainly with normal or low LH levels and thus indicating secondary hypogonadism, are found in the majority of HIV-infected men and do not resolve during 2 years of successful cART.
