A Universal Isocyanide for Diverse Heterocycle Syntheses

TL;DR: Three different heterocyclic scaffolds easily accessible from isocyanoacetaldehyde dimethylacetal 1 by multicomponent reaction (MCR) are described and the synthesis, 3D structures, and other physicochemical properties are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bis(π-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl)(2-methyliden) titanacyclobutan: Selektive insertion von isonitrilen und diphenylketen—Bildung fünf- und sechsgliedriger metallacyclen

TL;DR: In this article, the reaction of isonitriles or diphenylketene with the titanacyclobutane derivative Cp2★ TiC(CH2)CH2CH2 (2) (Cp★ = [C5(CH3)5]) at room temperature afforded the five-and six-membered metallacycles Cp 2★TiC( ǫC(ǫ)CH 2 )CH2 CH2C(PH2)O (11), respectively, whose structures have been characterized by
Journal ArticleDOI

Tetrazole and triazole carbene complexes of group 6 metal carbonyls

TL;DR: In this article, the relative stability of bis(NHC)tetracarbonyl complexes of group 6 metals was studied by using triazolin-and tetrazolinylidene ligands.
Journal ArticleDOI

Receptor‐Bound Conformation of Cilengitide Better Represented by Its Solution‐State Structure than the Solid‐State Structure

TL;DR: Molecular modeling studies of the various ligand structures docked to the αvβ3 integrin revealed that utilization of the solid-state conformation of Cilengitide leads-unlike the solution-based structures-to a mismatch of the ligand-receptor interactions compared with the experimentally determined structure of the protein-ligand complex.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Versatile Synthesis of 6-Oxo-1,4,5,6-tetrahydro-pyrazine-2-carboxylic Acid Methyl Esters via MCR Chemistry

TL;DR: In this paper, a three-component, one-pot condensation yielding 6-oxo-1,4,5,6-tetrahydro-pyrazine-2-carboxylic acid methyl esters from aldehydes, amines and 3-dimethylamino-2isocyano-acrylic acid methyl enters is described.
