TL;DR: Overall, one third of patients with RA and PsA stop MTX most commonly due to poor tolerability, and the median duration of treatment is short (10 months); thus, the magnitude of the problem may be substantially greater therefore aspoor tolerability impacts treatment adherence.

Are we really what we eat? Nutrition and its role in the onset of rheumatoid arthritis.

TL;DR: It is suggested that adherence to the Mediterranean diet enhanced with an increased consumption of fatty fish, reduced consumption of sugar-sweetened drinks and maintenance of a normal body weight, contributes to reducing the risk of RA.
