Development of Si-bridged conjugated donor polymers for high-efficiency bulk-heterojunction photovoltaic devices
TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis and photovoltaic properties of poly[2,7-(9,======9-di-n-octyl-silaforene)-alt-5,5''-(4',======7'-di-2-thienyl-2',1',3'-benzothiadiazole)] (PSiF-DBT) were reported.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Experimental Demonstration of Staggered CAP Modulation for Low Bandwidth Red-Emitting Polymer-LED Based Visible Light Communications
Paul Anthony Haigh,Alessandro Minotto,Andrew Burton,Zabih Ghassemlooy,Petri Murto,Zewdneh Genene,Wendimagegn Mammo,Mats Andersson,Ergang Wang,Franco Cacialli,Izzat Darwazeh +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, a staggered carrierless amplitude and phase (sCAP) modulation for visible light communication systems based on polymer light-emitting diodes emitting at ∼639 nm.

Chromatin remodeling in peripheral blood cells reflects COVID-19 symptom severity
Nicholas S. Giroux,Shengli Ding,Micah T. McClain,Thomas W. Burke,Elizabeth Petzold,Hong A. Chung,Grecia rivera Palomino,Ergang Wang,Rui Xi,Shree Bose,Tomer Rotstein,Bradly P. Nicholson,Tianyi Chen,Ricardo Henao,Gregory D. Sempowski,Thomas N. Denny,Emily R Ko,Geoffrey S. Ginsburg,Bryan Kraft,Ephraim L. Tsalik,Christopher W. Woods,Christopher W. Woods,Christopher W. Woods,Xiling Shen +23 more
TL;DR: It is indicated that pre-seroconversion chromatin remodeling in certain innate immune populations is associated with divergence in symptom severity, and the identified transcription factors, regulatory elements, and downstream pathways provide potential prognostic markers for COVID-19 subjects.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lateral size reduction of graphene oxide preserving its electronic properties and chemical functionality
TL;DR: In this article, the use of a sonifier at low temperature allows to rapidly reduce the lateral size in ∼82% while preserving the C/O ratio and consequently the chemical stability, the band gap, the electronic energy levels and the functionality.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modulating the nanoscale morphology on carboxylate-pyrazine containing terpolymer toward 17.8% efficiency organic solar cells with enhanced thermal stability
Jing-Nuo Wu,Xia Guo,Minghai Xiong,Xinxin Xia,Qi Li,Jin Fang,Xin Yan,Qi Liu,Xinhui Lu,Ergang Wang,Donghong Yu,Maojie Zhang +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a series of 1D/2A type widebandgap terpolymer donors were synthesized using a simple and low-cost electron-deficient building block 3,6-dithiophenyl-2-carboxylate pyrazine (DTCPz) to develop terpolymers.
