Journal ArticleDOI
High-density limit of the Perdew-Burke-Ernzerhof generalized gradient approximation and related density functionals
TL;DR: In this article, a simplifying assumption of the Perdew-Burke-Ernzerhof (PBE) correlation functional was pointed out, which should be corrected when evaluating the high-density limit of the PBE energy for nonsinglet systems under uniform density scaling.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular electron density distributions in position and momentum space
Journal ArticleDOI
The singlet and triplet state rotational potential surfaces for dihydroxycarbene
TL;DR: In this paper, the potential surfaces for rotation of the OH groups in C(OH)2 for both the lowest singlet and triplet states were computed, and it was shown that pi electron donation is responsible for making dihydroxycarbene a ground state singlet.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
An ab initio study of formamide
TL;DR: In this paper, the ground and low-energy excited states of formamide were calculated at the ground state geometry and the predicted triplet energies lie at 5.4 eV (3nπ*) and 5.8 eV(3ππ*) respectively.
