Distributed algorithms for barrier coverage using relocatable sensors

TL;DR: This paper gives the first two distributed algorithms that achieve barrier coverage for a line segment barrier when there are enough nodes in the network to cover the entire barrier.
Book ChapterDOI

Fault-Tolerant Broadcasting in Radio Networks (Extended Abstract)

TL;DR: This work considers broadcasting in radio networks that are subject to permanent node failures of unknown location, and it is shown that a node situated in the range of two or more nodes that send messages simultaneously, cannot receive these messages and hears only noise.
Journal ArticleDOI

Memoryless search algorithms in a network with faulty advice

TL;DR: It is shown that the expected number of edges traversed by the agent before finding t is bounded from above by O(d+r^k), where d is the distance between the initial and target nodes and r=q1-q, and can be significantly improved for particular topologies such as the complete graph and the torus.
Book ChapterDOI

Approximating the Unsatisfiability Threshold of Random Formulas (Extended Abstract)

TL;DR: This work defines, in terms of the random formula φ, a decreasing sequence of random variables such that if the expected value of any one of them converges to zero, then φ is almost certainly unsatisfiable.
