Journal ArticleDOI

Polarization control of high order harmonics in the EUV photon energy range

TL;DR: The generation of circularly polarized high order harmonics in the extreme ultraviolet range from a linearly polarized infrared laser focused into a neon filled gas cell is reported, being significantly more efficient than currently demonstrated direct generation of elliptically polarized harmonics.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Solar Orbiter EUI instrument: The Extreme Ultraviolet Imager

Pierre Rochus, +149 more
TL;DR: The Extreme Ultraviolet Imager (EUI) as discussed by the authors is part of the remote sensing instrument package of the ESA/NASA Solar Orbiter mission that will explore the inner heliosphere and observe the Sun from vantage points close to the Sun and out of the ecliptic.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of normal incidence of three-component multilayer mirrors in the range 20-40 nm.

TL;DR: The nature and thickness of the three materials has been optimized to provide the best enhancement of reflectivity and theoretical reflectivity of an optimized B4C/Mo/Si multilayer reaches 42% at 32 nm.
