Journal ArticleDOI

High-density genetic linkage map construction and identification of fruit-related QTLs in pear using SNP and SSR markers

TL;DR: A highly saturated pear genetic map was constructed using over 3000 SNP markers developed by RADseq integrated with anchored SSR markers, which identified the reliable QTLs of several fruit traits.
Journal ArticleDOI

An A20/AN1-type zinc finger protein modulates gibberellins and abscisic acid contents and increases sensitivity to abiotic stress in rice (Oryza sativa)

TL;DR: It was found that ZFP185, unlike previously known A20/AN1-type zinc finger genes, increases sensitivity to drought, cold, and salt stresses, implying the negative role of ZFP 185 in stress tolerance.
Journal ArticleDOI

An AFLP, SRAP, and SSR Genetic Linkage Map and Identification of QTLs for Fruit Traits in Pear ( Pyrus L.)

TL;DR: A population of 97 F1 seedlings from a cross between the interspecific hybrid pear ‘Bayuehong’ (BYH) and the Chinese pear “Dangshansuli” (DS) was used for establishing linkage maps and for quantitative trait loci (QTL) discovery.
Journal ArticleDOI

A robust approach for blind detection of balanced chromosomal rearrangements with whole-genome low-coverage sequencing.

TL;DR: This work provides a whole‐genome low‐coverage sequencing approach to detect BCA events independent of knowing the affected regions and with low false positives, and advances the application of high‐throughput whole‐ Genome low-coverage analysis for robust BCA detection—especially for clinical samples—without the need for karyotyping.
