A long-term perspective on immunity to COVID.

Andreas Radbruch, +1 more
- 14 Jun 2021 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors determined the duration of protection from SARS-CoV-2 infection by predicting the course of the COVID-19 pandemic and showed that immunity will be long-lasting.
Journal ArticleDOI

Maintenance of CD8+ memory T lymphocytes in the spleen but not in the bone marrow is dependent on proliferation

TL;DR: Stability was independent of circulating CD8+ memory T cells, blocked by FTY720, showing that BM is a privileged site for the maintenance of memory T lymphocytes, as resident cells, resting in terms of proliferation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Innate-like effector differentiation of human invariant NKT cells driven by IL-7

TL;DR: Both ex vivo and in vitro analysis of fetal and neonatal iNKT cells delineate an effector differentiation program linked to cell division in vivo, and they identify IL-7 as one of the crucial signals driving this program in the apparent absence of Ag stimulation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Selection and depletion of plasma cells based on the specificity of the secreted antibody.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that these labeled PCs can be isolated alive or induced to commit suicide in the presence of complement and rapidly select and sort viable anti-OVA-producing hybridoma cells in a cell line with partially lost OVA antibody production, obviating the need for laborand time-intensive subcloning and screening for reestablishment of the monoclonal culture.
