Hydrogen photoproduction by Nafion/cadmium sulfide/platinum films in water/sulfide ion solutions

TL;DR: In this article, a new system for the generation of photocatalytique d'hydrogene is described, which comprend des cristallites de semiconducteur fixees dans a matrice polymere (Nafion), which contient, aussi, un catalyseur de degagement d'Hydrogene, and le rendement de production of hydrogene a partir d'une eau contenant un donneur d'electrons sacrificiel (ion sulfure) est plus grand que celui obten
Journal ArticleDOI

NEXAFS studies of halobenzenes and phenyl groups on Cu(111)

TL;DR: In this article, the orientations of halobenzenes and phenyl groups on a Cu(111) surface have been studied by the near edge X-ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization and theory of electrocatalysts based on scanning electrochemical microscopy screening methods.

TL;DR: A strategy for finding new electrocatalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in acidic solutions is outlined and illustrated with results for Pd-Co catalysts, and density functional theory is used for detailed calculations of oxygen adsorption and dissociation on the material.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chemistry for a sustainable future.

TL;DR: This exhibition celebrates the 50th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence by highlighting the contributions of servicemen and women from around the world that have contributed to the building of the country.
