Holographic ghost imaging and the violation of a bell inequality

TL;DR: This work demonstrates the contrast enhancement of images within a ghost-imaging system by use of nonlocal phase filters and shows a violation of a Bell-type inequality for an OAM subspace, thereby unambiguously revealing the quantum nature of this arrangement.
Journal ArticleDOI

Indefinite Causal Order in a Quantum Switch

TL;DR: A photonic quantum switch is realized, where two operations A and B act in a quantum superposition of their two possible orders, on the transverse spatial mode of the photons; polarization coherently controls their order.
Journal ArticleDOI

Quantum digital spiral imaging

TL;DR: In this paper, the combination of digital spiral imaging with high-dimensional orbital angular momentum entanglement can be used for efficiently probing and identifying pure phase objects, where the probing light does not necessarily touch the object, via the experimental, non-local decomposition of non-integer pure phase vortices in OAM-entangled photon pairs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Violation of a Bell inequality in two-dimensional orbital angular momentum state-spaces

TL;DR: The entangled nature of high order OAM states generated by spontaneous downconversion through violation of a suitable Clauser Horne Shimony Holt (CHSH)-Bell inequality is demonstrated.
