Novel immunoadjuvant compounds and uses thereof
TL;DR: In this article, a cyclic beta glucan compound for use as an immuno adjuvant and vaccine composition comprising thereof was proposed. But this compound was not suitable for use in the vaccine.
Book ChapterDOI
Analysis of Kinesin Accumulation on Salmonella-Containing Vacuoles
TL;DR: This chapter describes techniques that are used to screen by immunofluorescence microscopy the accumulation of kinesin-1 on strains of Salmonella carrying multiple mutations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular Characterization of SehB, a Type II Antitoxin of Salmonella enterica Serotype Typhimurium: Amino Acid Residues Involved in DNA-Binding, Homodimerization, Toxin Interaction, and Virulence.
Fernando Chimal-Cázares,Fernando Chimal-Cázares,Gabriela Hernández-Martínez,Gabriela Hernández-Martínez,Sabino Pacheco,Miguel A. Ares,Jorge Soria-Bustos,Jorge Soria-Bustos,Manuel Sánchez-Gutiérrez,Jeannett A. Izquierdo-Vega,Jose Antonio Ibarra,Jorge A. Gonzalez-y-Merchand,Jean-Pierre Gorvel,Stéphane Méresse,Miguel Cruz +14 more
TL;DR: Eight amino acid residues of SehB antitoxin were required for its repressor activity, affecting both homodimerization and DNA-binding activity, supporting the notion that both activities of Se hAB antitoxin are required to confer virulence to Salmonella enterica.
Journal Article
Characterization of intestinal membrane vesicles with flow cytometry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cell type-specific expression of estrogen and progesterone receptors in the human vaginal mucosa.
Chao Gu,Dorothée Duluc,Matthew Wiest,Yaming Xue,Johnny Yi,Jean-Pierre Gorvel,HyeMee Joo,Sangkon Oh +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, none of the dendritic cell (DC) subsets in the human VM expressed estrogen receptor (ER) or progesterone receptor (PR) in situ, however, they were capable of expressing ERα, but not PR, after in vitro culture of the whole VM tissues.
