Journal ArticleDOI

Remarkably low incidence of hypospadias in Greenland despite high exposure to endocrine disrupters; possible protective effect of androgen receptor genotype.

TL;DR: Interestingly, among the 11 076 boys born in Greenland 1982-2002, only two cases of hypospadias were noted, indicating that AR genotype could contribute to a genetic predisposition in Greenlanders, who despite one of the worlds highest body burden of POPs, seem to be protected from hypos padias.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimal Cut-Off Points for the Short-Negative Act Questionnaire and Their Association with Depressive Symptoms and Diagnosis of Depression

TL;DR: The two cut-offs points for the S-NAQ identified in this study showed a significant association with both depressive symptoms and diagnosis of depression, and future prospective studies are needed to establish the predictive validity of the proposed cut-off points.
Journal ArticleDOI

Increased incidence of infertility treatment among women working in the plastics industry

TL;DR: The increased incidence of infertility treatment in female plastics workers motivates more specific studies of reproductive occupational health in the plastics industry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Indices of methylation in sperm DNA from fertile men differ between distinct geographical regions

TL;DR: Sperm DNA global methylation level (DGML) is relatively independent from semen quality parameters and is a new candidate biomarker for epidemiological studies of the impact of environmental contaminants on male fertility.
Journal ArticleDOI

Accuracy of Cryptorchidism Diagnoses and Corrective Surgical Treatment Registration in the Danish National Patient Registry

TL;DR: The data on cryptorchidism in the Danish National Patient Registry are quite accurate and have the potential to serve as a valuable research tool, although caution should be exercised when studying time trends or geographical differences.
