Chemistry of Trimethyl Aluminum: A Spontaneous Route to Thermally Stable 3D Crystalline Macroporous Alumina Foams with a Hierarchy of Pore Sizes

TL;DR: A simple and spontaneous one-pot self-formation procedure that is easy to scale up has been developed based on the chemistry of trimethylaluminum (TMA), leading to thermally stable macroporous crystalline alumina with a very unique and unprecedented three-dimensional (3D) hierarchical pore structure consisting of well-defined wormlike mesopores as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and characterization of SiO2/TiO2 composite microspheres with microporous SiO2 core/mesoporous TiO2 shell

TL;DR: In this article, a mesoporous titania coatings on the surfaces of microporous silica microspheres were obtained by adjusting the HPC concentration to an optimal concentration of about 3.2mmolL{sup -1}.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dual-dehydrogenation-promoted catalytic oxidation of formaldehyde on alkali-treated Pt clusters at room temperature

TL;DR: Theoretical simulations and experimental studies presented in this article show that the OH− ions provided by alkali metal salts make a major contribution to the enhanced activity of Pt catalysts toward the room-temperature catalytic oxidation of HCHO instead of additional alkaline metal ions.
Journal ArticleDOI

N-doped graphene framework supported nickel cobalt oxide as supercapacitor electrode with enhanced performance

TL;DR: In this article, a glamorous structure of nickel cobalt oxide nanosheets distributed on N-doped graphene framework (NCO/NGF) has been designed, and the hybrid material delivered a specific capacitance of 1198 F 1 g−1 at 1'A'g−1 with an admirable long-term cycling stability.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dynamics of Photogenerated Charge Carriers in Inorganic/Organic S-Scheme Heterojunctions.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the behaviors of photogenerated charge carriers within an inorganic/organic TiO2/polydopamine S-scheme heterojunction using ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy and time-resolved photoluminescence spectrogeneration.
