Journal ArticleDOI

A high-response formaldehyde sensor based on fibrous Ag-ZnO/In2O3 with multi-level heterojunctions.

TL;DR: In this paper, a high-response formaldehyde gas sensor based on Ag-ZnO/In2O3 nanofibers was successfully fabricated, which achieved an ultra-high response value of about 186 towards 100ppm of formaldehyde at 260°C.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ni-P cluster modified carbon nitride toward efficient photocatalytic hydrogen production

TL;DR: In this paper, Ni-P alloy clusters are anchored onto the surface of polymeric carbon nitride through a chemical plating method and serve as highly efficient and stable cocatalyst toward photocatalytic proton reduction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synergistic effects of hollow structure and surface fluorination on the photocatalytic activity of titania

TL;DR: The results show that the photocatalytic activity of TiO(2) hollow microspheres is significantly higher than that ofTiO( 2) nanoparticles prepared in the same experimental conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Flexible nickel foam decorated with Pt/NiO nanoflakes with oxygen vacancies for enhanced catalytic formaldehyde oxidation at room temperature

TL;DR: In this paper, flexible nickel foam with Pt/NiO nanoflake catalysts was prepared through fast chemical bath deposition, which exhibited enhanced activity for HCHO removal at room temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Controlled synthesis of calcium carbonate in a mixed aqueous solution of PSMA and CTAB

TL;DR: A mixed system of poly (styrene-alt-maleic acid) (PSMA) and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) was used as a very effective crystal growth modifier to direct the controlled synthesis of CaCO{sub 3} crystals with various morphologies and polymorphs as discussed by the authors.
