Abstract P514: A Healthy Beverage Score and Risk of Chronic Kidney Disease Progression, Cardiovascular Disease, and All-Cause Mortality in the Chronic Renal Insufficiency Cohort
Emily A Hu,Cheryl A.M. Anderson,Morgan E. Grams,Lawrence J. Appel,Josef Coresh,Deidra C. Crews,Jiang He,Haochang Shou,Katherine T. Mills,Jonathon J Taliercio,Madhumita Jena-Mohanty,Zeenat Bhat,Casey M. Rebholz +12 more
TL;DR: Beverage intake may be an important modifiable dietary target in managing outcomes for individuals with CKD and a healthier beverage pattern was associated with lower risk of CKD progression and all-cause mortality.

Blood Pressure Fluctuation During Hospitalization and Clinical Outcomes Within 3 Months After Ischemic Stroke
Ruirui Wang,Yang Liu,P. Yang,Zhengbao Zhu,Mengyao Shi,Yanbo Peng,Chongke Zhong,Ai-zhen Wang,Tan Xu,Hao Peng,Tian-Fen Xu,Jing Chen,Yonghong Zhang,Jiang He +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the effect of increased blood pressure variability during hospitalization on clinical outcomes after acute ischemic stroke was evaluated using a multivariable adjusted restricted cubic spline analysis, showing a linear relationship between systolic BP fluctuations and the primary outcome (P for linearity=0.0009).
