TL;DR: The results suggest an inverse relationship between alcohol consumption and risk of ESRD in Chinese men and heavy alcohol consumption, however, may lead to increased risk of morbidity and mortality from other causes; therefore, the implications from these findings should be interpreted cautiously.

TL;DR: In this article, the association between common variants in the ENaC genes and salt sensitivity of blood pressure (BP) was examined, and the results indicated that common variants of ENaCs may contribute to the variation of BP response to dietary sodium intake.
