Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative Genomic Analysis of Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citrumelo F1, Which Causes Citrus Bacterial Spot Disease, and Related Strains Provides Insights into Virulence and Host Specificity

TL;DR: Comparative genomic analysis showed differences in several gene clusters, like those for type III effectors, the type IV secretion system, lipopolysaccharide synthesis, and others, which provides valuable insights into the mechanism of bacterial virulence and host specificity in X. citrumelo and X. vesicatoria.
Journal ArticleDOI

Impact of phages on soil bacterial communities and nitrogen availability under different assembly scenarios.

TL;DR: The results show that changes in phage pressure have the potential to impact soil bacterial community composition and diversity, and a positive effect of active phages on the soil ammonium concentration in a few treatments indicates that increased phages pressure may also be important for soil functions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Augment or push: a computational study of bipartite matching and unit-capacity flow algorithms

TL;DR: The implementations of the FIFO and lowest-level selection push-relabel algorithms have the most robust asymptotic rate of growth and work best overall and augmenting path algorithms on some problem classes are faster by a moderate constant factor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative genomics analyses of citrus-associated bacteria

TL;DR: A detailed genomic comparison is presented between XF-9a5a and XAC, which possesses more genes involved with type IV pili biosynthesis than does XAC and has 4 copies of Type I restriction/modification system while XAC has only one.
