Journal ArticleDOI

Plasma soluble endoglin concentration in pre-eclampsia is associated with an increased impedance to flow in the maternal and fetal circulations.

TL;DR: To examine the relationship between abnormalities in uterine (UtA) and/or umbilical artery (UA) Doppler velocimetry and maternal plasma concentrations of soluble endoglin (sEng) in patients with pre‐eclampsia (PE).
Journal ArticleDOI

Applications of 2-dimensional matrix array for 3- and 4-dimensional examination of the fetus: a pictorial essay.

TL;DR: This technology allows examination of fetal structures from multiple perspectives, in real time, without the need to move the transducer in the maternal abdomen, and real‐time direct 4D imaging with 360° rotation for examination of Fetal anatomic structures is feasible.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fragment Bb in Amniotic Fluid: Evidence for complement activation by the alternative pathway in women with Intra-amniotic Infection/Inflammation

TL;DR: Findings suggest a role for fragment Bb in the host immune response against IAI, a physiologic constituent of the AF, and its concentration increases with advancing gestational age and in pregnancies complicated with IAI.
