TL;DR: In this article, a study of Malaysian universities in terms of sustainable campus criteria was carried out, whereby four public universities namely UM, UPM, UKM, and USM were observed for the time span of five years and the results reveal three important obstacles as the impediments of social sustainability of sustainable higher education in MHEI.
